Archaeological discoveries suggest that Egyptian hieroglyphics may be the oldest form of writing dating back to 3200 to 3300 BC.

The ancient Egyptian word for Hieroglyphs literally translates to “language of the Gods” which indicates the importance of these symbols to the people of the time.

They were used in prayer, in royal documents and to reference historical events.

The Egyptians used Hieroglyphics to decorate jewellery and other luxury items and it isn’t hard to see why, these beautiful symbols hold so much history and innovation.

There is a story behind every image and I for one hope it never ends.
